Meet
TUXIE (left) and DALE (right)
They are Miniature Nigerians. They arrived at the farm in August
of '04, right around 8 weeks old.
Things were rocky at first. Dale had a twin brother, Chip.
Within a week after arriving home here, Chip came down with Urinary
Calculi (a dilemma that can face male goats). Sadly, he could not
be saved.
Tuxie arrived to rescue Dale and me from our grief.
Tuxie is quite the character and must be anywhere you are. He
enjoys chewing on clothes and head butting the dogs!
Dale, on the other hand, is a tad more reserved and sneaky in his
antics. He'll wait til you're not looking and then check out what
you might have in your back pocket!
They
are truly a joy to have around
the place, not to mention being the
big hit when any children stop by.
